How to Place a Bet on 4casters
1. Simple Betting Process: Regardless of whether you're navigating from the sportsbook perspective or the exchange view, the betting process is designed for ease:
a. Select a Side: Determine which side you'd like to place your bet on.
b. Decide Your Stake: Input the amount you're willing to risk.
c. Lock it in: Confirm your decision by clicking the "Take Bet" button.
2. Understanding Commission Fees:
a. Standard Fee: Remember, a commission fee of 1% is levied on all accepted bets.
b. MLB Exception: For MLB moneylines, a slightly reduced commission fee of 0.75% applies. This distinction is why, as illustrated in our example, a risk of $100.75 is presented instead of a flat $100.
c. Commission-inclusive Odds: If you'd rather see odds inclusive of the commission, there's a setting to enable that.
3. The 4casters Pricing Model: Different Limits, Different Prices
a. Adaptive Limits: Unlike traditional sportsbooks, 4casters offers a range of limits tailored to specific prices. If you aim to bet an amount that surpasses the current price's limit, the system seamlessly adjusts. It begins by fulfilling the maximum limit at the first price, then dynamically recalibrates to accommodate the remaining amount.
b. Real-time Odds Adjustment: As you bet, if your staked amount exceeds the available limit for a specific price, the odds will instantly adapt to mirror the new scenario.
c. Optimal Odds Assurance: On 4casters, fluctuations work in your favor. If the odds improve by the time you finalize your bet, you'll enjoy those better odds. Conversely, if they decline, you're shielded — you won't end up with worse odds than you initially intended. The only variable might be a slight change in the available betting volume.
4. Betting Beyond Displayed Amounts: Desire to stake higher than what's visibly offered? No worries! At 4casters, you can craft an offer that perfectly matches your intended bet amount. Checkout the next section to see how you can make an offer.
